Unity Dixon 
Unity was born in 1765 in Edgecomb NC. Unity's father was Thomas JR Dixon and her mother was Sarah Hickman. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Sr Dixon; her maternal grandparents were Nathanial Sr. Hickman and Sarah Ann Strickland. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Hickman, Thomas III, Kisiah, Nicholas, Sally and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 53 in 1818.-
