Thomas Scott's family was born near Baltimore, MD. They all went to the Scott's Run area of Monongalia Co., VA. From there William went to Fayette Co., PA., Abraham and David to Cumberland Township., Greene Co., PA (after the Revolutionary War, David went back to Scott's Run in VA.), John and Thomas went to Richhill Township., Greene Co. Thomas then went to Wetzel Co., or Marshall Co., WV.
