Andrew Jackson Jr. was born on April 28th, 1871 in Pleasant Point, Paulding, OH. Andrew Jackson Jr.'s father was Andrew Jackson Sr. POORMAN and his mother was Sarah DAILEY. His paternal grandparents were Christopher POORMAN and Maria Elizabeth LONGSDORF; his maternal grandparents were John Wiley DAILEY and Mary DEWEES. He was an only child. He died at the age of 79 in 1950 in St. Louis, MO.General Notes
He married his first wife Minnie McKinney in 1897. She died in 1899. Their two children died in infancy.
A.J. Jr. was one of 10 children. He left home in 1887, the same year his mother Sarah Dailey died, and settled eventually in Southern Illinois.
He married Nellie Rae BEHYMER on 16 Sep. 1901 in <Mill Shoals>, IL
His siblings were: Mary E./Thomas W./Loretta/Emerson L./Francis/ Henry J./Lucy D./Maggie/ and Perry.
