Text: Sir William Eure knight age 26, 10 Henry V, 1422, married in 1411, when under age, license date 25 Jan. 1410/11, Sheriff of Yorshire, 1445. He was at the battle of Agincourt in the retinue of Lord Fitz Hugh, died before 12 Feb. 1466/7 buried in the chancel of Malton Abbey. m. Matilda dau. of Hen. Lord FitzHugh of Ravensworth, co. York. Her will dated 12 Feb 1466/7, and proved at York, 30 May following, to be buried in Malton Abbey near her husband - Azure, 3 chevronels embraced in base or, a chief of the last.
