Robert I was born in 1046 in Pont-Audemer, Beaumont, Normandy, FRANCE. Robert I's father was (Seigneur) Roger DE BEAUMONT and his mother was Adeliea * MEULAN. His paternal grandmother was Aubreye * DE LA HAIE. He was an only child. He died at the age of 72 on June 5th, 1118.
