Sarah was born on August 25th, 1602 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND. Sarah's father was Thomas BRYAN and her mother was Frances BOWLINGE. Her paternal grandparents were Robert BRYAN and Joane * UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Thomas * BOWLINGE and Elizabeth * ??. She was an only child. She died at the age of 67 on November 20th, 1669 in Milford, New Haven, CT.General Notes

Baldwin, p. 34. At time of remarriage in 1640 she owned several
lots and £800, and by 1643 she is recorded in New Haven as one of the wealthiest proprietors.
1666, New Haven, Connecticut: Sarah transferred the least of two
pieces of land adjoining St. Leonards common, Buckinghamshire, to Edward Baldwin; original lease was to Richard Baldwin, bequeathed to his nephew Sylvester.
H.F. Seversmith 1939, Colonial Families of Long Island, New York, and Connecticut, Being the Ancestry and kindred of Herbert Furman Seversmith, vol. 1, p. 231. Her will dated 9 November 1669 names brothers Richard Platt and Thomas Wheeler as overseers. Seversmith categorically states that Sarah was not a sister of Alexander Bryan.
As Richard Platt married Mary Grover she could be either Sarah Platt (hence daughter of Richard Platt and Rose Windsor) or Sarah Grover. Also possible that the word "brother" was used in a religious sense, hence no family relationship.
