(Comte) Raimond IV was born in 1195 in Provence, FRANCE. (Comte) Raimond IV's father was (Comte) Alfonso UNKNOWN and his mother was Gersende DE SABRAN. He was an only child. He died at the age of 50 on August 19th, 1245.General Notes

Count of Provence and Forcalquier. Three of his daughters are members of this record, one became Queen of England, another the Queen of France and the third the Queen of Naples. As all become mothers of male heirs, his grandsons became kings of England, France and Naples. Raymond was himself the grandson of the King of Aragon, and the great-grandson of the King of Spain.
