Sylvester Withrow 
Sylvester was born on August 14th, 1860 in , Wayne, Illinois. Sylvester's father was Alonzo Withrow and his mother was Mary Or Polly Pennington. His paternal grandparents were Richardson Withrow and Elizabeth King; his maternal grandparents were Uriah Pennington and Frances Mary Plumlee. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Barnabus Or Barrow D.C., Samuel S., Alonzo Emery, Robert R., Jesse, Anthony J., Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Lavina and Elmer R.. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 57 on June 24th, 1918 in , Wayne, Illinois.-
