Nathan Whitehead 
Nathan was born about 1719 in , Isle Of Wight, Virginia. Nathan's father was Arthur Whitehead and his mother was Isabella Purcell. His paternal grandparents were William Whitehead and Rachel; his maternal grandparents were Arthur Purcell and Mary. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, Lewis, Patience, Catherine, Mary and Ann. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died in 1779 in , Nash, N.C..-
