Joseph R. Wexler 
Joseph R. was born in 1853 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Joseph R.'s father was George Buckellew Wexler and his mother was Sarah Buchellew. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Wexler and Mary Birdwell. He had a brother and three sisters, named James Monroe, Martha Jane, Byer B. and Polly B.. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-sisters named Mary Bacon and Martha E.. He died at the age of 54 in 1907.-
