John Adam was born on June 20th, 1787 in Of Reading, Berks Co., PA.  John Adam's father was John Adam Wuertemberger and his mother was Elizabeth Fentzler.  His paternal grandparents were John Adam Wuertemberger and Anna Maria Strohecker; his maternal grandparents were Dietrich Fentzler and Elizabeth Margareth. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Frederick, George, Michael, Peter, Samuel, Solomon, William, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He died at the age of 72 in 1859 in Greene Co., TN.
