Nancy Ward 
Nancy was born in October 1849 in , Harrison, Kentucky. Nancy's father was John D. Ward and her mother was Maria Hearne. Her maternal grandparents were Clement H. Hearne and Keziah Cannon. She had four sisters named Naomi Ruth, Sarah, Emaline and Maria. She was the youngest of the five children.
