Charles Underwood 
Charles was born in 1866 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Charles' father was Allen Underwood and his mother was Susan Murdock. His paternal grandparents were Reuben Underwood and Sarah. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Hugh, Ellen and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the five children.
