Francis Marion Tipsword 
Francis Marion was born on December 25th, 1837 in , Fayette, Illinois. Francis Marion's father was Isaac Tipsword and his mother was Lucinda Harris. His paternal grandparents were Griffin Tipsword and Ruth; his maternal grandparents were Archibald Harris and Chaney. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Ashby, Isaac Benton, Thomas, John, William, Robert, Sarah Jane, Ruth, Martha, Frances, Rebecca and Melissa Lucinda. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 88 on January 17th, 1926.-
