Horace Benton Taylor 
Horace Benton was born on August 15th, 1859 in Corriganville, Allegany, Maryland. Horace Benton's father was Emmanuel Taylor and his mother was Mary Ann Durst. He had four brothers and a sister, named John Wesley, Burgess Hamilton, Franklin, Jesse B. and Hannah Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the six children.
