James Still

James was born in 1837 in , , Tennessee.  James' father was John Still and his mother was Juda.  His paternal grandparents were Lewis Still and Jincy Russell. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Uriah, John H., Samuel, Abraham, Randall, Mary and Jincy.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Andrew J., Elias B., Julia A., Sarah M., Nancy A., Matilda J. and Rachel E..
