John Soward 
John was born in 1722 in Queen Anne's County, MD. John's father was Thomas Seward and his mother was Susannah. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Seward and Lucretia Or Lucy Griffin. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, George, Thomas, William, Mary, Sarah and Rebecca. He had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named Daniel, Rachel, Rhoda, Suzanna, Ruth, Ann and Rebecca.
