William Marion Smalling 
William Marion was born on June 4th, 1842 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. William Marion's mother was Elizabeth Smalling. His maternal grandparents were Robert W. Smalling and Nancy Agnes Oliver. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 on April 18th, 1907.
