Alvin Jacob Shipley 
Alvin Jacob was born in 1889. Alvin Jacob's father was Benjamin Franklin Shipley and his mother was Mary Susan Dickson. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Shipley and Edna Mauk; his maternal grandparents were William Samuel Dickson and Margaret Titsworth. He had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph Benjamin, Bertie Ann and Margaret Dove. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 58 in 1947.-
