Brittain Sanders 
Brittain was born in 1737 in Edgecombe County, N. C.. Brittain's father was James Sanders and his mother was Ann Holmes. His maternal grandparents were John Holmes and Tamar Bird. He had four brothers named James, John, Hardy and Elick.
