William George Rutledge 
William George's father was George Washington Rutledge and his mother was Sarah Caswell Cobb. His paternal grandparents were George Rutledge and Annis Armstrong; his maternal grandparents were Richard Caswell Cobb and Rebecca Buckingham. He had a brother and a sister, named Richard Caswell and Annis Penelope. He had two half-sisters named Barsheba Ellen and Catherine Rebecca.-
