James Russell 
James was born on January 2nd, 1771 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. James' father was Bryce Russell and his mother was Rachel Jane Thompson. His paternal grandfather was George Rusel; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Thompson and Eleanor. He had four brothers and four sisters, named George, Hugh, Bryce, Andrew, Isabella Helena, Mary, Rachel and Jane. He died at the age of 43 on January 5th, 1814 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.
