Rion 
Rion was born in December 1879 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Rion's father was William Rion and her mother was Martha A. Moore. Her paternal grandparents were Stokeley Towles Rion and Martha Ann Rucker; her maternal grandparents were James S. Moore and Martha A. Bibb. She had a brother and three sisters, named Willie, Nettie, Matilda and Jessie. She was the youngest of the five children.-
