Powhatan's father was Wahunsenacawh Powhatan Chief Of The Powhatan and her mother was Wingonuske Matatiske Nonoma.  Her paternal grandparents were Running Stream Algonkian and Morning Flower Scent. She had eleven brothers and nine sisters, named Parahunt, Pochins, Mehtafe, Namontack, Nataquos, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan, Matachanna, Pocahontas Amonute Mataoka Rebecca, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan, Powhatan and Powhatan. She had a half-sister named Tatacoope.
