Samuel Pope 
Samuel was born about 1712 in Of, VA. Samuel's father was Henry Pope and his mother was Sarah Watts. His paternal grandparents were William Pope and Marie; his maternal grandparents were John Watts and Alice English. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, Henry, Richard, Jacob, John, Joseph, Thomas, Mary, Jane and Mourning. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died on January 5th, 1788.-
