Stanton Pemberton 
Stanton was born in 1778 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Stanton's father was John Pemberton Colonel and his mother was Elizabeth Stanton. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James, William, Thomas, Thomas, Ezekiel, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Sarah, Nancy D. and Dianna. He died at the age of 60 in 1838 in Oakland, Coles County, Illinois.
