George Pearson 
George was born in 1831 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. George's father was Lawrence Pearson and his mother was Elizabeth Devault. His paternal grandparents were Christian Pearson and Catherine; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Devault and Katherine Gross. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John H., Pryor Lee, Lewis, Eliza Jane, Catherine, Adeline and Emeline. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
