John Orrick

John was born in 1845 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  John's father was James Madison Orrick and his mother was Catherine Brock.  His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Orrick. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Benjamin, Robinson B., Henry, William, Madison, Samuel, Sarah, Lydia, Virginia, Emilia, Matilda, Mary and Amanda.  He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.
