John Morris Murphy

John Morris was born in September 1856 in , , Illinois.  John Morris' father was Dennis Murphy and his mother was Martha Jane Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Morris Murphy and Catherine; his maternal grandparents were John Bell and Prudence Yates. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James Daniel, Michael, Catherine, Ella, Margaret and Louisa Laura.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.
