John Martin Morrell 
John Martin was born on March 5th, 1856 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John Martin's father was Christian Morrell and his mother was Sarah Chestnut. His paternal grandparents were Christian Morrell and Susannah Hamblen; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Chestnut and Susan Lee. He had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, John and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 59 on December 12th, 1915.-
