James Roy Moody 
James Roy was born on November 8th, 1881 in Tennessee. James Roy's father was James Monroe Moody and his mother was Susan Bell Dickson. His paternal grandparents were James C. Moody and Elizabeth Ford; his maternal grandparents were John Dickson and Elizabeth T. Lizenby. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Porter Lafayette, John Howard, William Edgar, Sarah Elizabeth, Ocie A., Mary Alice, Laura Belle and Myrtle. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 on July 23rd, 1965 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.-
