James A. Mitchell 
James A. was born in 1858 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. James A.'s father was John Mitchell and his mother was Retta. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Jackson, Ansell and Eliza Ann. He was the youngest of the five children.
