Jane was born on February 11th, 1802 in Virginia.  Jane's father was William Matthew McNair and her mother was Miss Stewart. She had a sister named Eleanor.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 78 in 1880 in Harrison County, Kentucky.
