Joseph M. McLain 
Joseph M. was born on November 6th, 1842 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Joseph M.'s father was Clark McLain and his mother was Susannah. His paternal grandparents were Thomas McLain and Elizabeth Doty. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Hiram, Jacob, George, John, Wade H., Luke, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary Ann, Deborah and Margaret. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 98 on March 22nd, 1941.-
