Margaret Elizabeth was born on September 28th, 1832 in , Mecklenburg, North Carolina. Margaret Elizabeth's father was James Jarvis Maxwell and her mother was Margaret Wallace. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Maxwell and Elizabeth Hood. She was an only child. She died at the age of 62 on April 15th, 1895.-
