Joseph Mauk

Joseph was born in 1835 in Of Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Joseph's father was Henry Mauk and his mother was Margaret Latture.  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Mauk and Elizabeth Bowles; his maternal grandparents were Harmon Latture and Agnes Boles. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John, William, Henry, James, Sarah, David, Enoch Tennessee, Elizabeth, Nancy A., Louisiana and Mary.  He was the second youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 30 in 1865.
