Henry Massengill Jr. 
Henry was born in 1758 in Southampton County, VA. Henry's father was Henry Massengill and his mother was Mary Cobb. His paternal grandfather was James M. Massengill; his maternal grandfather was Benjamin Cobb. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Michael, Solomon, Mary Ann, Ailsey and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 79 in 1837 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.-
