Sarepta Byrde was born on April 2nd, 1884. Sarepta Byrde's father was Benton Henry Livingston and her mother was Matilda Catherine Hill. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham J. Livingston and Mary B. Ewing; her maternal grandparents were Charles Hill and Martha Jane Duff. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James M. R., Wright S., John Boring, Lodeas Ewing, Mary Jane, Sarah E. H., Lucy Victoria and Eva Engenia. She was the second youngest of the nine children.-
