William Caswell Kyle 
William Caswell was born on June 6th, 1813 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. William Caswell's father was Absalom Kyle and his mother was Barsheba Whitehead Cobb. His paternal grandparents were Robert Kyle and Leah Brooks; his maternal grandparents were Pharoah Cobb and Barsheba Whitehead. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Robert P., Absalom Arthur, Stokley, Joseph, Jesse, Claiborne, Leonidas Netherland, Gale, Minerva, Ailsey, Barsheba, Annis and Mary Sidney. He was the oldest of the fourteen children.-
