Harriet Kite 
Harriet was born in 1824 in Virginia. Harriet's father was John Kite and her mother was Delia Armentrout. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Kite and Catharine Kiser; her maternal grandparents were John Armentrout Jr. and Anna Marie Baker. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Jackson, Mary Ann, Ann, Elizabeth, Amanda V., Sarah Jane, Frances C. and Angelina. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.-
