Christian Kite 
Christian was born about 1775 in Rockingham Co., VA. Christian's father was Philip Kite and his mother was Mary. His paternal grandparents were John Wendel Kite and Hannah Medlicott. He had six brothers and a sister, named Henry, Michael, Benjamin, William, John, Philip and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
