Elizabeth Hughes 
Elizabeth was born in 1861 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Elizabeth's father was Samuel Devault Hughes and her mother was Mary Henry Bowers. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Hughes and Elizabeth Devault. She had a brother and three sisters, named Charlie Bowers, Leonora, Lelia Edna and Lula Ellen. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother named James Robert. She died at the age of 66 in 1927.-
