Penelope Holmes 
Penelope was born in 1765 in North Carolina. Penelope's father was Gabriel Holmes and her mother was Mary Cason. Her paternal grandparents were John Holmes and Tamar Bird. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Owen, Lewis, Hardy, Gabriel, Ann and Dorothy. She was the third oldest of the seven children.-
