Katherine Hicks 
Katherine was born in 1839 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Katherine's father was Riley Hicks and her mother was Elizabeth Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Hicks and Elizabeth Cox; her maternal grandfather was Alexander Smith. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, Alexander and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the four children.
