William Helton

William was born in 1831 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  William's father was John Helton and his mother was Charity. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joshua, Wiley, Orvis, George, John, Jesse, Jane, Lavinia and Ann.  He was the oldest of the ten children.
