Mary Hawkins

Mary was born in 1766 in Washington County, Tennessee.  Mary's father was Samuel Hawkins and her mother was Anneka Jane Edwards.  Her paternal grandfather was Joseph Hawkins; her maternal grandfather was Richard Edwards. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Richard, Samuel, Sarah, Jane, Rebecca Sullivan, Susan and Caroline.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.
