Columbus Hamblin 
Columbus was born in 1846 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Columbus' father was Henry Hamblin and his mother was Eliza. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Hamblin and Nancy Holt. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Hannibal, William, Hezekiah, Leonidas, Henry, Daniel, Julia, Virginia, Mary and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.
