George was born in 1757.  George's father was George Grandstaff Bishoff and his mother was Hass.  His paternal grandfather was John Amos Bischoff. He had a brother and two sisters, named Philip, Madelena and Magdalene.  He died before 1823 in Shenandoah County, Virginia.
