John Gookin

John was born in 1546 in Ripple Court, Kent County, England.  John's father was Thomas Gookin and his mother was Elizabeth Durrant.  His paternal grandfather was Arnold Gookin; his maternal grandfather was John Durrant.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 77 on July 23rd, 1623 in Carrigaline, Cork, Ireland.
