Bertha Irene was born on March 17th, 1879 in Brown Twp., Montgomery Co., IN. Bertha Irene's father was George Washington Goff and her mother was Amanda Josephine Wilson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Oliver Goff and Elizabeth Gardiner; her maternal grandparents were John Hughes Wilson and Portia Ann Boyle. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Earl, Charles, Leona, Clara M. and Ida Etta. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 69 on April 23rd, 1948.-
